Fasting and Abstinence

Today is Ash Wednesday. 

When do we fast and abstain?

Because what is small for me can be big by your standards, here is the definition of fasting  - eat 1 full meal, and 2 small meals (that when combined do not equal a full meal). 

Advise your cook that it will be no meat for you every Friday until Good Friday. Forgeting is not an excuse. It’s negligence 🙂🙃

Its easy to see many motorcycles stopping by, and the riders’ praying. Cars also slow down.

SALAMAT PO sa susi ng aking sasakyan, kasama na ang manibela at makina, ako ang iyong pinagkatiwalaang humawak para tiyaking ang aking biyahe ay isang biyaheng ligtas.

SALAMAT PO sa talinong ibinigay mo sa akin. Regular ko pong pinatitingnan ang aking sasakyan, at tinitiyak na maayos ang kondisyon nito bago ako lumakad.

SALAMAT PO sa paglalagay sa aking puso ng pagmamahal para sa aking mga pasahero, pag-ibig na nagbubunsod sa akin na maging maingat sa kalsada. Sa aking pagsunod sa itinakdang tulin, sa mga dilaw na linya sa kalsada, at sa iba pang mga babalang nakahanay sa mga kalsadang aking dadaanan, hindi lamang tiyak na ligtas ang aking mga pasahero, kundi ako ri’y makakauwing ligtas sa aking pamilya.

Envelopes are now available at the Saint Gabriel the Archangel parish office. 

This deserves 1000 views

18 months into the pandemic, the Saint Gabriel Sunday masses still get an average of 18 views. 

Sadly, our online community didn't grow.

What are we not doing well?

The celebration is as Holy as those in other parishes.

The Homily of Fr. Adrian is as interesting as that of Bishop Ambo.

The choir sounds alive and great.
